If you have a few hours to spare and would like to help animals, why not become a volunteer for the RSPCA North Devon Branch?
The local Branches are not funded by the National Society and we have to raise sufficient funds to run the Welfare Budget and the Re-homing Budget.
Our main expenses are the cattery boarding fees, veterinary fees and professional services.
To cover these expenses, we operate four charity shops in Bideford, Braunton, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe. The shops are staffed by volunteers and you may feel you can give up a few hours a week to serve in one of them.
We organise a programme of fund raising events throughout the year and we always need people to help on these occasions. We hold a list of willing volunteers whom we can call on and you may be willing to add your name to this list.
We carry out home-checks on all the animals we re-home and with training, you may like to become a Home-checker.
If you just want to be a Friend of the Branch and support our efforts, then you could consider joining the Lottery 200 Club or arranging a Standing Order. We would be pleased to hear from you.
If you would like to help in any way at all, please select below and print our Volunteer Application Form (PDF Format).
Complete the form and return it us: (the return address is pre-printed on the form)
We urgently require a volunteer Fundraising Co-Ordinator to help raise vital funds for the North Devon RSPCA Branch.
Please contact us if you think you can help!
Thank you :)
